Malnad Falcons recorded their first win in the league after beating Bengaluru in their second Group B game on Monday. Tanya Hemnath was the show’s star for Malnad Falcons as she won both of her matches in the second Group B league tie at the Karnataka Badminton Association Hall. Consequently, Malnad Falcons demolished Bengaluru by 6-1 to register their maiden win.
The International shuttler defeated Rashmi Ganesh 15-5, 15-3 in straight sets and then also won her mixed doubles match with Kiran Kumar. On the other hand, BM Rahul and Chiranjeev Reddy were then able to stun Prakash Raj and Suhas V. Rohith Mariswamy then bested Rudra Shahi to bag two crucial points for his team.
