The LA Lakers legend LeBron James is well known for his consistency in his glorious career. James is playing his 18th NBA season and he has achieved almost all the records in his career. The talisman celebrated his 36th birthday in style as he became the first NBA player to have consecutive 1000 games with at least 10 points.
Meanwhile, former Chicago Bulls superstar Michael Jordan had recorded 886 successive games with 10 points. Former legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had recorded 787 straight matches with 10 points at least.
The LA Lakers defeated San Antonio Spurs by 121-107 as James scored 26 points and eight assists. When 6:15 were left in the second quarter, James scored a baby hook shot to complete 11 points in the game.
In fact, the last time James couldn’t score 10 points in a game was back in January 2007. James had scored eight points, nine assists and five rebounds as Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks.
The 36-year old has eight single digit games in his illustrious career out of which five came in his rookie season of 2003-04.
Meanwhile, James had led the LA Lakers to their 17th NBA title in the previous season as he had delivered the goods. James has broken many records in his career and he would look to continue the good show.
The legend has been consistent right throughout his career and his longevity is an inspiration for many youngsters. James has worked hard on his fitness and he has been able to reap rewards for putting in the hard yards in his training. The linchpin is known to give his best everytime he turns on the court.
The LA Lakers will next play against the San Antonio Spurs on 2nd of January.
