The trio of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James are regarded as the three best basketball players in the last three to four decades. Jordan, Bryant and James always have had the skills to bring their best in must-win situations and their ability to kill the game on their own, puts them in the pantheon of the game.
Meanwhile, NBA analyst Jason Timpf picked LeBron James over Michael Jordan and the late Kobe Bryant to deliver in a must-win Game 7 situation.
“The funny thing is we’ve seen both Kobe & MJ struggle with jump shooting variance in game 7s,” Timpf wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Timpf backed James to excel because of his size, strength, athleticism, and IQ.
“LeBron has the highest floor of any player in NBA history. If it’s just one game you need to win, he’s easily your best bet. His size, strength, athleticism and IQ will always be there,” he added.
On the other hand, Las Vegas Raiders’ Maxx Crosby picked Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant over LeBron James on the OGs show.
“My GOAT list, I am taking Kobe over LeBron,” said Crosby.
“I think LeBron, like I respect his greatness, like his is top three no question. But if it really comes down to it, like in my opinion, you got Game 7 on the line, I am taking MJ, I am taking Kobe, if I want to win a title. That’s just my opinion,” he added.
Meanwhile, James averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists on 66% shooting in the Olympics and thus played an instrumental role in taking his team to glory.
