ICC ODI Rankings – Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma maintain top positions, Jasprit Bumrah at second place

In the latest update of the ICC ODI rankings, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma were able to maintain their top positions. Kohli remains at the numero uno place with 871 rating points whereas Rohit is at the second place, 16 points behind his captain with 855 points. Pakistan ODI captain Babar Azam is at the third place with 829 points.

On the other hand, India’s gun fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remains at the second place with a total of 719 rating points. Bumrah is three points away from New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult, who occupies the top place with 722 points. Afghanistan Mujeeb Ur Rahman is at third place among the bowlers with 701 points.

In the all-rounders list, Afghanistan Mohammad Nabi takes the number one position with 301 rating points whereas the in-form Ben Stokes is at the second place with 293 points.

India’s Ravindra Jadeja, who has been an integral part of the team in the ODI setup, is the only Indian in the top 10 all-rounder list. Jadeja is at the eight place in the all-rounder’s list with 246 points.

Shikhar Dhawan is at the 17th place in the rankings whereas Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are at 13th and 18th spot respectively.

Meanwhile, the upcoming three-match series between World Cup champions England and Ireland will make an impact on the rankings. The series will kickstart the World Cup Super League with the first match to take place on 30th July.

Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy would be looking to enter into the top 10 batsmen list. Roy is at the 11th place whereas Bairstow is at the 14th place and they would look to dominate the Ireland bowlers to help their team win and also improve their rankings. England’s limited overs captain Eoin Morgan is at the 23rd place and he would also have a chance to take upward steps in the rankings table.
