A depleted Kolkata Knight Riders will face a confident Rajasthan Royals in the 47th match of the season at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Monday.
KKR have veered off the track as they have lost their last five matches and had lost their last game against Delhi Capitals by four wickets.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals had also lost their previous against Mumbai Indians by five wickets and they will look to get back to the winning ways.
Meanwhile, KKR has failed to come up with a collective show and thus there has been a lot of chopping and changing. KKR could only manage 146 runs against Delhi Capitals and their batting unit needs to come up with a better show. The top-order hasn’t provided a good start to their team and it has led to their downfall.
For Rajasthan Royals, Jos Buttler once again scored a fine fifty but he didn’t get the support from the rest of the batters against Mumbai Indians. RR will hope that the likes of Sanju Samson, and Shimron Hetmyer deliver the goods for the franchise in the upcoming matches.
The bowling unit has done a good job for Rajasthan Royals but their death bowling could be a concern in tight matches.
Match Prediction: Taking current form into consideration, Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against a beleaguered Kolkata Knight Riders. The previous match between these two teams was won by Rajasthan Royals by seven runs.
