IPL 2023: Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Stats Preview

Chennai Super Kings will square off against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Friday. CSK’s batting unit has been doing a fine job for the team and they will look to carry the good show. The likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shivam Dube has given good starts to the team.

CSK have won three out of the five matches they have played and they are currently in third place in the standings. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad has won two out of the five games they have played. SRH will look to get back to winning ways after suffering a 14-run loss against MI in their previous game.

CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has amassed 1407 runs in 40 IPL matches at an average of 39.08. Thus, the flamboyant batter needs another 93 runs to complete 1500 runs in the tournament.

Ambati Rayudu has scored 4264 runs in 193 IPL matches and he needs another 236 runs to get to the milestone of 4500 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja has taken 138 wickets in 215 IPL matches and he requires another dozen wickets to get to the landmark of 150 wickets.

Shivam Dube has gathered 822 runs and requires 178 more runs to reach the milestone of 1000 runs in the IPL.

Moeen Ali has mustered 978 runs in 48 IPL matches and the English left-hander needs to score 22 runs more to get to the feat of 1000 runs.

MS Dhoni has scored 348 boundaries in the IPL and needs two more fours to complete 350.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batter Mayank Agarwal has amassed 2444 runs in 118 matches and he needs another 56 runs to get to the feat of 2500 runs. Agarwal has also hit 92 sixes in the tournament so far.

Rahul Tripathi, who has done a good job for Orange Army in the last couple of seasons, has mustered 1922 runs in 81 matches. Thus, the right-hander is 78 runs away from reaching the 2000-run mark in the tournament. Tripathi has scored 192 fours in the competition thus far.

T Natarajan has scalped 42 wickets in 40 IPL matches. Ergo, the left-arm seamer needs another EIGHT wickets to complete the feat of 50 scalps.

Abhishek Sharma has scored 700 runs in IPL and he requires 300 runs to get to the milestone of 1000 runs in the tournament.
