Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Rajasthan Royals in the 56th match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Thursday. It will be a crucial match for both of these teams as they have managed five wins in the 11 matches they have played.
While RR has struggled in the recent past, winning a solitary contest in the last six matches, KKR has won three out of their last five matches. RR should have won their previous match against SRH as they had 41 runs in the bank for the last two overs but Sandeep Sharma and Kuldip Yadav could not deliver.
On the other hand, Andre Russell was the star of the show in his KKR’s previous win against Punjab Kings as he scored 42 runs from 23 balls.
Here is the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals – Stats Preview
Andre Russell has scalped 96 wickets in the 109 matches he has played in the IPL. Thus, the all-rounder is four wickets away from completing 100 wickets. Russell also needs nine more sixes to complete 200 sixes in the IPL.

Yuzvendra Chahal has scalped 183 wickets in 142 IPL matches and he needs another wicket to leapfrog Dwayne Bravo’s tally of 183 scalps and become the most successful bowler in IPL history.
