Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Lucknow Super Giants in the 15th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Monday. RCB had suffered a huge loss of 81 runs against KKR in their previous match and they will be looking to bounce back.
On the other hand, LSG won their previous game against Sunrisers Hyderabad convincingly by five wickets and they will aim to continue their winning impetus.
RCB would have been disappointed with their last match’s efforts. They had KKR on the mat at 89-5 but let them go past the 200-run mark after Shardul Thakur played a magnificent knock. The shoulders must have dropped in the dressing after such a hammering loss but Faf du Plessis will look to pick up his players. The Bengaluru-based team will want to come up with a collective show against LSG, who have two out of their three matches.
Meanwhile, LSG bowled well against the Orange Army to restrict the opposition to a sub-par score. Krunal Pandya was the star of the show as he delivered with both bat and ball.
Match Prediction: RCB will enter the contest as favorites against LSG while playing in their own conditions.
