Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns against Delhi Capitals in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League at the Eden Gardens Kolkata on Monday. KKR have won five out of their eight matches whereas Delhi Capitals have registered five wins in 10 games they have played.
After getting off to a slow start, Delhi Capitals have won four out of their last five matches and this momentum must have given them a lot of confidence. The Rishabh Pant-led team won their last game against Mumbai Indians by 10 runs after posting a huge score of 257 runs on the board.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders lost their last game against Punjab Kings despite putting 261 runs on the board. The Shreyas Iyer-led team will need to come up with a better bowling performance as they conceded the highest run chase in the history of the IPL.
When these two teams met earlier in the season KKR won by a gargantuan margin of 106 runs. KKR had posted a huge total of 272 runs on the board and they will be looking to replicate the same performance.
Match Prediction: Kolkata night riders will start the contest as favorites against Delhi Capitals.
