Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns against Lucknow Super Giants in the 28th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday in a day game. KKR lost their previous match against Chennai Super Kings as they were dominated by the defending champions.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants have been on a roll, winning their last three matches after losing the opener against RR. LSG has come up with an impressive bowling performance in their last three matches and they will need to continue the good show.
LSG has come up with a collective effort with both bat and ball. Yash Thakur was able to step up against Gujarat Titans as he bagged a five-wicket haul and bowled at the top of his game.
Meanwhile, KKR could only manage 137 runs on the board in the previous match against CSK and they will need to come up with a better show while playing in their conditions. None of the batters could go past the 35-run mark in the last game.
Vaibhav Arora has impressed for KKR as he has picked five wickets in two matches and he will look to continue the good show.
