Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Lucknow Super Giants in the 57th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Wednesday. Both of these two teams lost their respective previous matches and will want to return to winning ways as the tournament enters much-win territory.
LSG was thrashed by Kolkata Knight Riders by a huge margin of 98 runs, which would have not only dented their confidence but also their Net Run Rate. After conceding a huge total of 235 runs on the board, LSG was skittled out for a paltry score of 137 as none of the batters could even cross the 40-run mark.
LSG was also poor in the field as they didn’t take their catches and their fielding coach Jonty Rhodes will certainly want a better performance from his players.
On the other hand, SRH could only manage 173 runs against Mumbai Indians and they will want to come up with a better batting show. Travis Head scored 48 runs but none of the other batters could not get the job done. Mayank Agarwal once again could not deliver the goods and Rahul Tripathi might get his opportunity against LSG.
SRH’s batting has been on a downfall in the last few matches and they will look to be at their best in this crucial game.
Match Prediction: Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter the contest as favorites against Lucknow Super Giants.
