Delhi Capitals will start their IPL 2025 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Monday. Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have swapped their teams and both the wicket-keeper batters would look to make a fresh start with their new franchise.
LSG doesn’t have a lot of experience in their pace battery and it would be a major concern for them moving into the season. However, they have a lot of quality in their batting line-up and they would look to cover up. A lot of onus will be on Ravi Bishnoi in the middle overs and the leg-spinner would look to be at his best.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, ticks most of the boxes in their squad and it would be interesting to note how Axar Patel would lead for the first time in the IPL. Patel is currently full of confidence and he would look to carry the same form in the lucrative T20 tournament.
Stats Preview:
In-form Karun Nair needs four runs to complete 1500 runs in the IPL.
