Ireland will lock horns against India in the third and final T20I of the series at the Village, Dublin on Wednesday. India has already taken an impregnable lead of 2-0 in the series and they will look to whitewash the Irish team.
India had gone with an unchanged playing XI for the second T20I but they could give a chance to the remaining players after having already sealed the series. The likes of Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Jitesh Sharma could get their chances.
The visitors had posted 185 runs on the board in the second game after coming up with a collective batting show. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, and Rinku Singh had all played vital knocks to help their team go past the 180-run mark.
Furthermore, Prasidh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravi Bishnoi were right on the money with the ball, taking two wickets apiece.
Rinku Singh, who played his maiden T20I innings in the Indian colors, scored an unbeaten 21-ball 38 to add the finishing touches. The youngster must have grown in confidence after playing an attacking knock.
On the other hand, Ireland could not execute their plans to perfection. Barring Andrew Balbirnie, who top-scored with 72 runs, none of the home side batters could get going. Ergo, they will need to pull up their socks and come up with a collective batting show.
Match Prediction: India will once again enter the contest as favorites against Ireland.
