IPL 2025 mega auction took place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25 with 577 players going under the hammer. Almost 640 crore was spent by all the 10 franchises in the two-day event as the teams looked to build their respective squads.
Lucknow Super Giants had released KL Rahul before the auction. LSG had earlier retained Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Ayush Badoni before the auction.
LSG bagged the services of Rishabh Pant for a whopping amount of INR 27 crore, making him the most expensive player in IPL auction history. The Lucknow franchise bought 19 players during the two-day event.
