T20 World Cup 2024: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh – Stats Preview

Sri Lanka will square off against arch-rivals Bangladesh at the Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas in the 15th match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday. Both of these teams haven’t been in great form in the recent past and they will need to turn the tables.

Sri Lanka was stunned by the Netherlands in the warm-up whereas the Tigers was shocked by the USA in two matches in a recent series. Furthermore, the Island nation lost their opening match against the Proteas by six wickets and it will be almost a must-win game for them.

Towhid Hridoy needs 46 runs to complete 500 runs in T20Is.

Charith Asalanka requires four runs to reach the 1000-run mark in T20I version.

Sri Lankan veteran Angelo Mathews needs 10 fours and two sixes to complete 100 boundaries and 50 maximums respectively in his T20I career.

SL former skipper Dasun Shanaka needs 47 runs to reach the 1500-run mark in T20Is.
