New Zealand will face India in the third and final T20I of the series at McLean Park, Napier on Tuesday. India had taken a 1-0 lead in the series after they won the second game in a comprehensive manner by 65 runs. The visitors will look to clinch the series while the Kiwis will want to draw level.
Suryakumar Yadav was just magnificent for the Men in Blue as he scored a scintillating knock of 111 runs off just 51 balls. The right-hander once again batted out of this world to torment the New Zealand bowlers. The 32-year-old scored 11 fours and seven sixes to deliver the goods for the team.
Furthermore, India’s bowling was right on the money as they ticked the right boxes. Yuzvendra Chahal scalped two wickets and he would want to continue the good work.
On the other hand, Kane Williamson will not play the third game of the series as he has to attend a pre-booked medical appointment. Tim Southee will lead the team in his absence.
The Blackcaps will want to come up with a better batting performance as they were skittled out for a paltry score of 126 runs.
Match Prediction: With impetus on their side, India will start as slight favorites against New Zealand.
