Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters FC has extended its contract with Milos Drincic until 2026. The 25-year-old came up with an impressive show for the Yellow Tuskers after joining the club in 2023.
The Montenegrin center-back scored two goals for Kerala Blasters FC in 19 matches of the previous ISL 2023-24 season.
On the contract extension, Sporting Director Karolis Skinkys said: “Miloš is a determined player with high motivation to perform and leadership qualities. I’m happy that he will continue with us and I’m looking forward to a good season ahead for him.”
Miloš Drinčić said: “Continuing my association with Kerala Blasters FC was a pretty easy decision for me. The fans’ passion and the club’s vision perfectly match my aspirations. I’m proud to represent Kerala Blasters FC and look forward to making ongoing contributions and leading the team towards multiple title triumphs.”
On the other hand, Jamshedpur FC continues to add more strength to their squad ahead of the new season. The Red Miners have roped in the services of pacy winger Aniket Jadhav for the upcoming edition of the ISL.
Interestingly, Jadhav made his ISL debut with Jamshedpur FC and then moved to clubs like Hyderabad FC and Odisha FC. Jadhav also won the ISL Cup with the Nizams in the 2021-22 season.
Aniket expressed his joy on his return to Jamshedpur and said, “ “I’m thrilled to be back home at Jamshedpur and eager to perform. I am excited to play under head coach Khalid Jamil and my only aim is to be focussed and step up every time I am required.”
Head Coach Khalid Jamil shared his enthusiasm about the signing, saying, “We’re delighted to have Aniket Jadhav back. This is a crucial year for him to showcase his skills and make a significant impact, especially with his experience. He’ll find it easier to settle in with familiar surroundings.
“However, he’ll face stiff competition to secure his spot and needs to push and deliver his best. Aniket’s versatility in playing multiple positions is a massive asset for us and we’re excited to see him contribute to the team’s success.”
