Jamshedpur FC midfielder Rafael Crivellaro has urged the team to continue the winning run in the Hero Super Cup. The Red Miners registered a convincing 5-3 win against FC Goa in their opening game of the Hero Super Cup 2023 at the EMS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode on Monday.
The Brazilian scored a brace for Jamshedpur FC and also provided an assist. The 34-year-old was delighted with his team’s performances and wants them to carry forward the good show in the upcoming matches. Crivellaro admitted that it was a difficult game but he was very happy with the team’s show.
“(It was a) Very difficult game. I’m very happy about the team. We knew it’s (going to be) very difficult, this Hero Super Cup, because if you lose, you don’t have much of a chance to go to the semi-finals. This (win) was very important for us. I think everybody is very happy about the result,” Crivallero said after the game.
With this win, Jamshedpur FC has moved to the second position in Group C behind ATK Mohun Bagan, who won their opening match by 5-1 against Gokulam Kerala FC.
Crivellaro added that they need to recover and give their best in their next match to keep up the good show.
“Now we just need to recover and keep going to the next game because it’s very difficult. I think it’s kill or die,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Rafael Crivellaro provided two assists in the 10 matches he played in the latest season of ISL 2022-23.
Jamshedpur FC came up with a collective show against the Gaurs. They will next lock horns against the ISL champions ATK Mohun Bagan on Friday at the same venue of EMS Stadium.
