Shortly after the break, Miraj Solanki doubled the score in the 52nd minute, putting the Marines in control. However, Shastri Nagar responded with goals from Manav Bonulu and Rafique Mansoori, leveling the score at 2-2 and setting up a thrilling finish.

In the final minute of injury time, Karthik Kumar stepped up and delivered a spectacular goal, clinching the win for Mumbai Marines FC and sending the home crowd into jubilation.
