The defending champions Puneri Paltan will take the mat against Gujarat Giants in the 33rd match of the 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League at the GMCB Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on Monday.
Puneri Paltan have shown their supremacy in the tournament so far as they have claimed four wins, one loss, and one tie to sit at the top of the points table.
The Paltan won their previous match against U Mumba by 35-28 with captain Aslam Inamdar scoring a Super 10 whereas Mohit Goyat and Gaurav Khatri scored nine and seven points respectively.
On the other hand, Gujarat Giants are struggling at 11th place in the standings. The Giants have managed a solitary win out of the four matches they have played with three losses.
They have lost their last three matches and suffered a huge loss of 44-25 in their previous game against Tamil Thalaivas. None of the Giants’ players could score a Super 10, but Guman Singh scored seven points.
Match Prediction: There is no doubt that Puneri Paltan will enter this contest as a hot favorite against Gujarat Giants.
