Rajasthan Royals will lock horns against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Saturday. Rajasthan Royals have got off to an ideal start as they have won all of their three matches whereas Royal Challengers Bengaluru have managed a solitary win out of the four matches.
RR came up with a brilliant bowling performance in the previous match against Mumbai Indians as they restricted the opposition to 125 runs. Trent Boult wreaked havoc as he scalped three wickets in the Powerplay overs. Furthermore, Yuzvendra Chahal bagged 3-11 in his quota of four overs.
Moreover, Riyan Parag’s form has been a huge positive for the inaugural champions. Parag has batted with great maturity in the ongoing season as he has scored 181 runs in three matches. But they will want their openers – Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler – to deliver the goods.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have struggled to get going. RCB was skittled out for 153 in the previous match against Lucknow Super Giants after Mayank Yadav returned with impressive figures of 3-14. No RCB batter was able to get past the 35-run mark and they need to come up with a better batting show.
RCB have always been dependent on the shoulders of their big players and once again it could be an issue for them.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
