West Indies will square off against India in the first Test match at Windsor Park, Roseau, Dominica from Wednesday onwards. Both teams will be looking to draw first blood in the series and start their WTC 2023-23 campaign on a high.
India is looking to revamp their Test team as youngsters like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been added to the squad. Furthermore, it will be a second innings for Ajinkya Rahane, who has made a return to the Test team on the back of some impressive performances in the domestic circuit. Rahane has also been given the role of vice-captaincy.
On the other hand, West Indies will be looking to make the most of their own conditions and come up with a collective show.
